Fibreglass Swimming Pools
Fibreglass swimming pools, where to begin. A swimming pool is a lovely thing to have, not to mention the valve it adds to a property. To some, it’s still a dream to have one and to others, it’s a goal they will soon achieve. However with fibreglass swimming pools or any swimming pool, there comes a time when it needs maintenance or repairs. This however can seem daunting because of the water scarcity not only in South Africa but across the globe.
Thankfully there is a solution….
So, if you’re one of the lucky ones where it’s time to repair, fibreglass reline or re-marble your swimming pool. You’re on the right page and now let’s address the elephant in the room.
What the hell do I do with all this water? The simple answer. Water bladders.
And what are Water Bladders? Water bladders are basically expensive pillows in which the water is stored on site or on your premises.
A quick history lesson…
Bladders were originally used as fuel storage bladders by the army to store large amounts of fuel in dry and hot conditions.
Meaning they are strong and durable and they don’t burst, which is obviously a concern.
Since the recent drought water bladders have become the standard to saving swimming pool water. We are currently storing 450 000l of water a day so you do the math. That’s a lot of water that 3 years ago just went down the drain.
Many people are not looking after their pools because they don’t want to waste the water by throwing it away. Regrettably they don’t know that they can store the water at a cheaper rate than buying in water.
We’ve made that possible by hiring out these bladders to home owners and the swimming pool trade. Because these bladders are expensive to buy not everyone can afford it. Not only have we and our clients helped save water we have also helped swimming pool contractors secure work during the drought.
